Business Analyst

Finonex is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our rapidly growing company and dynamic Data department. This role requires close collaboration with multiple business units and products, including those from Finonex’s internal innovation projects and acquisitions. You’ll play a critical role in supporting all analytical needs of these units, covering areas such as defining analytical layers, marketing and product analytics, and addressing key business questions.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to solve complex, high-impact questions raised by executive management, product managers, and various business units, providing insightful recommendations and strategic guidance. You’ll also support new initiatives, proactively influence business growth, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes at Finonex. As a Analyst, you’ll work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic analytical partner for several units and products within Finonex, providing data-driven insights to support business objectives.
• Serve as the primary data analyst liaison for business units and engineering teams, fostering effective cross-departmental collaboration.
• Proactively generate insights and recommendations to drive growth and improve decision-making.
• Model and simulate the impact of new features, initiatives, and opportunities, assessing their potential contributions to business outcomes.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize team dashboards and reporting systems, ensuring timely and accurate data availability.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on business performance, presenting actionable recommendations and conclusions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven record of handling complex analyses and contributing to business strategy (experience in trading or fintech is a strong advantage).
• Experience with Mixpanel and GTM include writing requirements and events definition.
• Experience with defining and analyzing AB Testing.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, with extensive hands-on experience – Must.
• Expert-level skills in data visualization and reporting platforms, ensuring data is accessible and actionable – Must.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights to stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent English, with superior communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Pyramid Analytics.
• Experience in Python for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with the trading or fintech industries.
• Advanced skills in working with big data tools (advantageous).
