What You Will Do

• Lead and grow a backend team developing microservices and APIs in Java (Spring Boot).
• Drive technical design discussions and long-term architectural planning.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business goals into robust technical outcomes.
• Encourage engineering best practices, from testing and deployment to monitoring and incident response.
• Support the professional growth of your team through coaching, feedback, and clear goal setting.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and communicate priorities across engineering and product groups.
  
  

• Deep technical foundation in Java
• Experience building distributed or event-driven systems
• 6+ years in backend development
• At least 2 years in a management or tech lead role
• Proven ability to balance delivery speed with quality and maintainability
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and observability stacks
• Fluent in English
• Experience in fintech, payments, or large-scale transactional systems (optional)
• Exposure to Kotlin, Scala, or Go (optional)
• Understanding of security and compliance within high-availability systems (optional)
• Track record mentoring senior engineers or managing multiple teams (optional)
