Lead and grow a team of engineers building backend systems in Python, define technical strategy, and drive architectural decisions across APIs, data pipelines, and distributed services.

What You Will Do

• Inspire, lead, and grow a team of engineers building backend systems in Python.
• Define technical strategy and drive architectural decisions across APIs, data pipelines, and distributed services.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Platform teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Champion engineering quality through reviews, testing standards, and CI/CD best practices.
• Balance hands-on technical direction with people management and coaching.
• Drive continuous improvement around observability, automation, and performance.
• Manage budgets, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations with transparency.
  
  

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years in leadership or management
