Full Stack Team Leader

A high-tech company in the cybersecurity domain is developing an innovative approach that combines cloud-based protection with on-device security, redefining how businesses connect in the era of cloud and remote work.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train station, and operates in a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the formation and management of a new engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, code reviews, and professional development.
• Designs, develops, and delivers scalable and resilient software components and services.
• Serves as a role model for best practices, inspiring the team toward high performance, efficiency, and product excellence.
• Collaborates closely with team members and diverse stakeholders across the organization.
• Coordinates dependencies and interfaces with other internal teams and external partners.
• Drives continuous improvement in alignment with organizational goals and product needs.
• Works collaboratively with the Group Manager, Product Manager, and Software Architect to define product vision and roadmap, and translates them into actionable development plans for the team.

Requirements-

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a software development team (4+ members), preferably a Scrum/Squad team including Full-Stack developers, with a practical “hands-on” approach.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Web development.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with React and Node.js.
• Proven track record of designing and building cloud-based web applications from scratch on AWS.
• Experience working with microservices architecture, including Serverless (Lambda).
• Extensive experience working in Scrum, with a deep understanding of Agile principles, practices, and values.
