Application Systems Support Engineer (Control-M Specialist) 5306

We are looking for a highly skilled Application Systems Support Engineer to join our technology team.

The role involves supporting and maintaining open-system application environments, building scheduling processes and Control-M frameworks, providing support to developers, troubleshooting issues, and developing automation tools as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scheduling processes using Control-M.
• Provide technical support to development teams.
• Maintain and enhance development tools for production systems.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues in Windows and UNIX environments.
• Develop automation tools and scripts according to business needs.
• Participate in on-call rotations (shift duties).

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent proven experience (military background acceptable).
• At least 2 years of experience working in Control-M open environments.
• At least 2 years of experience maintaining Control-M systems in UNIX/Windows environments.
• Proven coding experience (minimum 2 years).
• Experience developing in BASH / PowerShell – minimum 2 years.
• Experience developing in C# or VBS – minimum 2 years.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and self-learning abilities.
• Service-oriented and highly motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting code reviews and providing architectural guidance.
• Deep understanding of technological processes and automation best practices.
• Strong foundation in both Windows and UNIX environments.
