Frontend Team Lead

A startup company that developed a software solution called Network Cloud, helping telecom companies increase network capacity at lower costs and address margin erosion caused by pricing models for broadband services.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (near a train station), the company offers one work-from-home day per week. It employs 450 people globally, including 250 in Israel.

The company is a unicorn, having raised $262M in a Series C round at a valuation of over $2 billion, with total funding exceeding $500M.

Responsibilities-

• Lead and mentor the frontend development team
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components and design systems
• Architect and optimize UI frameworks for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with development, QA, Product, and UI/UX teams
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize the frontend build process
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Tech stack: React, Cloud, Microservices

Requirements -

• 6+ years frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and state management (Redux, MobX)
• 3+ years leading a team of 4+ engineers, including mentoring and technical guidance
• Experience with Microfrontend architecture and React performance optimization
• Hands-on with unit, UI, and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright) and CI/CD workflows
• Experience in component-driven development (Storybook) and frontend security best practices (XSS, CORS, OAuth, JWT)
• Proven ability to deliver projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong cross-team collaboration with QA, Product, PMs, and UI/UX designers
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
