About the Organization
The IDF Widows and Orphans Organization (IDFWO) is an independent, non-governmental nonprofit established in 1991, officially recognized by the State of Israel. We represent and support 100% of the widows and orphans of Israel’s fallen soldiers and security personnel through emotional, social, and financial programs that accompany each family for life. Our mission is to ensure that those who have paid the highest price for Israel’s safety are never left alone.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, creative, and mission-driven Global Communications Manager to lead all aspects of IDFWO’s English-language communication and international public profile. This pivotal role sits within the International Relations Department, reporting directly to the Director of International Relations, and works in close cooperation with the CEO, the Hebrew Marketing Manager, and the entire IDFWO staff to ensure a unified, accurate, and impactful organizational voice across all audiences and platforms.
The Global Communications Manager is responsible for shaping the organization’s voice globally, building awareness, and strengthening engagement through compelling storytelling, strategic media work, and high-impact digital content.
