We develop state-of-the-art NLP solutions that enable millions of Walmart’s shoppers to make smarter and more confident buying decisions.

We’re growing and are currently looking for a Staff NLP Data Scientist to join our group, and help us through the research and development of cutting-edge algorithms while handling massive amounts of data.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible over algorithmic features from inception to production
• Research new technologies and adapt them for use in the product
• Apply your scientific knowledge and creativity to analyze large volumes of diverse data and develop algorithms to solve complex problems
• Write and implement efficient code

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field (MSc an advantage)
• Experience in NLP - Must
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in research and implementation of Machine Learning based solutions
• MSc in computer Science with a specialty in NLP - Big advantage
• Experience in server side development, OOP language (Java/C#) – Big advantage
• Experience in taking NLP features to production - advantage
• Experience in Deep Learning - Advantage
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
