Development Team Lead

Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Team Lead to build and lead a new team responsible for developing Check Point’s Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) product. This product will integrate with various Check Point security solutions, delivering proactive monitoring, alerts, and actionable insights that enhance the end-to-end digital experience.

As the Team Lead, you will drive the technical vision, lead full-stack development efforts, and grow a high-performing engineering team from the ground up. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and security experts to deliver a scalable, cloud-native solution that supports our global customer base.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of the DEM product, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing team of software engineers.
• Define architecture and technology choices, balancing innovation with operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DEM capabilities into existing Check Point security products.
• Establish best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring in a cloud-native environment.
• Drive proactive monitoring and analytics features to provide insights into employee digital experiences.
• Own end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to production deployment and continuous improvement.

Desired Background

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with strong expertise in full-stack development.
• 2+ years of experience in leading and managing software engineering teams.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, Go).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of cloud-native database technologies (e.g., ADX, Amazon Databricks).
• Strong knowledge of scalable system design and distributed architectures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Advantage: Prior experience with monitoring, observability, or digital experience management solutions.
