About The Role

As a Data Quality Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring data integrity for Pagaya. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a crucial data gateway, monitoring and validating data from various external partners. You'll take ownership of the entire data quality lifecycle, from designing and implementing validation rules to investigating and resolving data incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate data issues, diving deep into problems, producing insightful analyses, and communicating findings. This includes escalating and collaborating with our international partners and Pagaya's internal global teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Gain a deep understanding of Pagaya's operational, business, and technological activities, directly influencing the company's data-gathering and processing efforts, ensuring our data is accurate, reliable, and serves our business needs.
• Monitor data issues, analyzing them across large and complex datasets to proactively identify potential issues.
• Design and implement tailored data monitors for our diverse internal customers, including Research, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
• Prepare data quality reports and present them in relevant forums, providing clear, actionable insights to stakeholders and management.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a Data Quality Analyst/ Data Operations position.
• Experience in analyzing data using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in data profiling, anomaly detection, and trend analysis.
• Bottom-up approach, with a proactive mindset, willing to dive deep into the data and processes to identify areas for improvement, constantly seeking ways to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to dynamic priorities, and get things done.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Hebrew.
