Quality Assurance Engineer

A successful cybersecurity company developing cloud-based systems that enable secure and fast enterprise communication. The company aims to reduce IT complexities by unifying communication and security capabilities into a single cloud platform, increasing efficiency and speed in security processes while keeping operational costs low.

The solution provides full enterprise communication capabilities, bridging the gap between the needs of digital businesses and the expensive, slow, and inflexible networks of traditional telecom providers, using a Cloud-Native Carrier architecture.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of the train station, operates a hybrid model with two days from home, and employs around 900 people globally, including 450 in Israel.

Responsibilities-

• Perform real-life scenario testing to simulate customer usage and identify edge cases or unexpected behaviors.
• Conduct scale and performance testing, evaluating system behavior under load, stress, and high availability conditions.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, DevOps, and Product teams to understand feature design and customer expectations.
• Utilize your advanced networking knowledge to validate configurations, routing, connectivity, and security elements.
• Investigate and report defects with detailed logs, reproduction steps, and impact analysis.
• Participate in cross-functional team reviews, improving test strategies and system robustness.
• Champion a customer-oriented mindset, ensuring that all testing reflects real-world user needs and pain points.
• Design and execute manual e2e system testing procedures for both backend and integrated environments.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in system-level manual QA.
• Hands-on experience with scale testing and system performance metrics.
• Strong background in networking protocols and architectures (e.g., TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls, SD-WAN).
• Familiarity with network test tools and traffic simulation.
• Proven ability to craft complex, realistic testing scenarios.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Customer-first approach to quality assurance and usability.
