Founding Product Manager

Foundational is on a mission to enable data teams and organizations to move faster while keeping trust in their data. Data related incidents are way too common in organizations, costing time and money.

We are a fast-growing start-up company, located in Tel Aviv, with a very strong founding team (Ex-8200, Google, etc). We are looking for candidates who are passionate about bringing a new feature from ideation to the customer’s hands while solving complex challenges and building scalable infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Define Product Vision & Strategy: Drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Foundational's core offerings, focusing on solving critical data governance, quality, and privacy challenges for data teams.
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Own the entire product lifecycle from ideation, user research, and requirements definition through design, development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
• Deep Customer Understanding: Conduct extensive user research, gather feedback, and analyze market trends to identify key problems and unmet needs within the data landscape.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful execution and delivery.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor the data governance and data quality market, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and ensure Foundational's product remains cutting-edge.
• Reporting: Report to the CTO.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of bringing successful products to market.
• At least 2 prior PM roles in your career history.
• Experience working in a B2B or B2B SaaS environment.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and ability to engage effectively with engineering teams on technical discussions.
• Self-motivated, highly passionate, and customer-obsessed attitude.

Advantages:

• Experience with technical products (e.g., developer tools, APIs, infrastructure products).
• Prior experience in a startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Experience working as a software developer or in a similar technical role.
