We’re seeking a hands-on, product-driven Cloud Team Leader to take charge of our core platform’s architecture and scale. This is a pivotal role within Sensos, leading a full-stack team that owns both backend services and UI development — building the data and logic that power a real-time, global supply-chain visibility platform used by world-class logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on leadership (≈ 30–40%)
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, architecture reviews, spikes, PoCs, and pair programming.
• Contribute directly to services written in C# / .NET 8.
• Oversee frontend work in React + Tailwind, ensuring high-quality UI aligned with backend design.
• Team ownership (≈ 60–70%)
• Lead and mentor a growing team of four full-stack engineers.
• Manage sprint execution, engineer growth, hiring, and roadmap alignment.
• Foster collaboration between UI and backend specialists for cohesive delivery.
• System design & architecture
• Orchestrate ingestion from heterogeneous sources (IoT telemetry, SQL, NoSQL) into a scalable, analytics-ready platform.
• Build event-driven, high-throughput pipelines with sub-second latency.
• Define and maintain a high-performance, secure, and observable cloud environment.
• Collaboration & product thinking
• Work daily with Product Management, Design, DevOps, and Data teams to deliver production-grade, user-centric features.
• Balance immediate feature needs with long-term scalability and maintainability.
  
  

• 4+ years of engineering management experience, with proven ability to lead and grow high-performing teams.
• 8+ years in software engineering, including significant experience in cloud-native systems and SaaS architecture.
• Strong command of Azure services, including Event Hubs, AKS, and related PaaS tools.
• Expertise in .NET/C# and full-stack development with React or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong foundation in engineering best practices — CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and collaborate cross-functionally.
