Position Profile: IT Department Manager for Clients

Overview

We are seeking an IT Department Manager with proven leadership experience and strong technological expertise to manage and lead IT services for external clients.

The manager will oversee all projects and activities with the company’s clients – from needs analysis, through solution design, to implementation and ongoing support.

This role combines strategic leadership, managing professional teams, maintaining continuous communication with strategic clients, and meeting SLA and service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Management

• Lead end-to-end IT service delivery for the company’s clients.
• Provide ongoing technological support: troubleshooting, technical assistance, and professional consulting.
• Guide clients in implementing advanced systems and infrastructures.
• Manage service contracts (SLA), monitor satisfaction, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

1. Integration Projects

• Plan, implement, and manage complex IT projects for external clients.
• Work with hardware, software, and cloud service vendors.
• Manage integrations between various systems and tailor solutions to clients’ business needs.

1. Team and Vendor Management

• Lead, manage, and empower the internal IT team and field teams serving clients.
• Manage external vendors and technological partnerships.
• Supervise the quality of services and projects delivered.

1. Information Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce information security policies across client environments.

1. Innovation & Business Development

• Identify and propose new solutions to existing clients to expand service offerings.
• Support sales (Pre-Sale) with technological expertise.
• Promote innovation and automation among clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or related field (Master’s degree – an advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in managerial positions.
• Proven experience working with external (B2B) clients, preferably in integration and IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networks, cloud solutions (AWS/Azure), and enterprise systems.
• Experience leading large projects (Agile/Waterfall).
• High-level proficiency in English – mandatory.

Advantages

• Proven track record managing strategic clients and complex SLAs.
• Relevant certifications: ITIL, CISSP, PMP, Microsoft/AWS.
