Machine Learning Engineer

A medical startup is leading the development of proactive preventive healthcare systems.

The platform leverages AI and Big Data to analyze extensive historical databases and images, aiming to predict patient deterioration, detect chronic diseases early, and provide alerts to healthcare organizations.

The company is based in Tel Aviv (near a train line), offers a hybrid work model with two days from home, and employs around 28 people globally (18 in Israel). They have raised $84 million to date.

The role:

• Part of the AI team, reporting to the VP of R&D
• Research and development around LLMs, Generative AI, and Multi-agent systems
• End-to-end AI lifecycle management:
• Define KPIs and plan AI initiatives
• Model development, fine-tuning, and evaluation
• Deployment and continuous optimization in production
• Work on Prompt Engineering
• Develop libraries and testing tools for model reliability
• Optimize performance (accuracy, speed, and cost)
• Integrate AI modules as part of the product system in collaboration with development teams
• Core technologies: Python, Node.js, LLM, NLP, Generative AI, Multi-agent Systems, Prompt Engineering, AI Pipelines, Big Data, Production Systems, Cloud
