Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Web Developer at Cherry in Tel Aviv District, Israel. The Web Developer will be responsible for front-end web development and overall web development tasks on Shopify. They will work on creating and maintaining Shopify stores, ensuring functionality and optimizing user experience. The role also involves direct communication with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure client satisfaction. Familiarity with AI tools and technologies to enhance development processes and client solutions is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify stores to meet client specifications.
• Implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Liquid.
• Optimize website performance and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored technical solutions.
• Utilize AI tools to improve development efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and contribute innovative solutions for clients.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Required.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent English – Required
• 1+ years of Shopify development experience (Liquid) - Big plus.
• Customer-facing experience or strong interest in working directly with clients to deliver solutions.
• Experience working with AI tools and technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, AI-assisted coding tools, automation platforms)
• Experience with WordPress – Advantage
