MIS Architect

We are seeking a forward-thinking and technically adept Enterprise MIS Architect to lead the architectural vision, governance, and implementation of Cloudinary’s internal systems. This role will champion scalable, secure, and integrated enterprise architecture that aligns with business goals, supports digital transformation, and promotes automation excellence.

You will serve as a critical link between MIS, business operations, and engineering teams, defining organization-wide architecture standards, evaluating solution options, and supporting the successful development and integration of business-critical systems. You will be responsible for providing architectural frameworks that translate high-level business requirements into detailed, actionable technical designs and implementation plans.

Your work will lay the foundation for scalable growth, operational efficiency, and seamless cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

This is a high-impact, strategic role ideal for someone passionate about solution design, automation, integration frameworks, and modern information systems technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy
• Define and maintain the internal systems architecture roadmap aligned with business goals
• Set standards, create reference models, and ensure alignment with Engineering and Data teams
• Lead evaluations of new tools with a focus on scalability and maintainability
• Integration & Automation
• Architect integrations across platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, Zendesk, etc
• Promote automation-first solutions using tools like Zapier, Workato, and MuleSoft
• Guide teams on API usage and low-code/no-code frameworks
• Governance & Collaboration
• Ensure compliance with standards (SOC2, GDPR) and support Zero Trust architecture
• Prototype emerging tech and align with data strategy
• Advise stakeholders, translate business needs into technical plans, and support delivery teams
  
  

• 10 years of proven experience in enterprise architecture, IT applications leadership, and large-scale IT transformations
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud)
• Experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS preferably in a global, high-tech environment.
• Proficiency in integration tools (Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier), API strategies, Data Architecture and automation frameworks
• Skilled in architecture modeling tools (Figma, UML, draw.io)
• Proven experience mentoring, influencing and driving change in technical teams across functions
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for both technical and business stakeholders
  
  

• Formal certifications in Salesforce Architecture, Netsuite Architecture and enterprise grade automation tools
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business (MBA/MSCS)
• Consulting or professional services background is a plus
