Field Service Engineer II

General Robotics, a SIG SAUER company, is a leading Research & Development team in the advanced defense systems industry, specializing in light and smart Remote Controlled Weapon Stations (RCWS) that provide our customers with life-saving systems that are innovative, reliable, quality-driven, and simple to operate.

Position Summary

The Field Service Engineer II will be part of a team responsible for the field installations, training, and repair of our advanced defense systems for special forces in the country and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Field installations, integrations, and training special forces on our advanced defense systems.
• Assembly, testing, and repair of our multidisciplinary systems.
• Providing maintenance and supporting special forces in the country and worldwide.
• Providing technical information and assisting the R&D and Marketing teams locally and internationally.
  
  

• A degree in engineering or other profoundly technical background from the industry or the IDF is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in integrations of multidisciplinary systems combining mechanics, electronics, software, and communication.
• Passionate about working in the field both in the country and overseas.
• Strong technical skills and ability to identify malfunctions in multidisciplinary systems and fix them.
• Ability to work independently, in a team, and representative with customers.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• High-level English – read, write, and speak.
• Experience with advanced defense systems - advantage
