Data Analyst

A fast-growing gaming startup has developed a mobile platform and game with tens of thousands of downloads and hundreds of thousands of daily active users. The company specializes in immersive gaming experiences, creating a “you-are-there” feeling for players.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv near a train line, the company employs 80 people, half of whom are in R&D, and operates a hybrid model with one work-from-home day per week.

The company has raised several million dollars and is currently under the radar, ranking third in the U.S. for daily downloads and user engagement, with growth rates doubling every few months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 Business Analysts.
• Define, maintain, and optimize data structures and analytics frameworks.
• Build and manage dashboards to track core business KPIs.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Design, validate, and monitor predictive models to support product and business goals.
• Automate analytical processes and reporting workflows.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and experimentation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Monetization teams.
• Core Technologies & Tools- Analytics frameworks, Business Intelligence tools, Predictive Modeling, Dashboarding, A/B Testing, SQL/Database querying, Python/R (optional)

Requirements:

• Strong background in data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Proven leadership experience - managing and mentoring analysts (must)
• Experience in the gaming industry - advantage.
• Experience working in B2C companies or mobile applications - must.
• Advanced statistical knowledge
• Proficient in SQL - must.
• Experience working with dashboarding tools (Looker – an advantage).
• Experience with Python - advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of business goals.
