Quality Assurance Engineer

A Cybersecurity startup is developing a patented Browser Security solution that ensures safe browsing for all enterprise users. The company recently closed a $29M Series A round led by top-tier venture funds.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv, near the light rail, the company employs 60 people globally, with approximately 35 in Israel, and operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week.

Founded five years ago, the company serves over 50 paying enterprise customers in production and is experiencing significant growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual end-to-end (E2E) testing for both client and server components of the Browser Security product.
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify, report, and verify bugs.
• Ensure high-quality product releases for enterprise clients.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and documentation.
• Participate in product discussions to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Core Technologies / Environment -Browser Security solutions, E2E testing, Client-Server architecture, Manual QA processes

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing of complex systems
• Proven experience testing web applications and backend services
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (Agile/Scrum), QA methodologies, and test planning
• Experience writing detailed, structured test cases and executing regression, integration, and exploratory tests
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (HTTP/S, DNS, TCP/IP, proxies, etc.); cybersecurity or networking experience is a strong advantage
• Ability to analyze logs, investigate issues independently, and communicate findings clearly to developers and stakeholders
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and a mindset for breaking things in smart ways
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
