About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-focused Financial Controller to be part of our Global Finance Team in Gvat. As part of a team-oriented HQ team, you will work closely with senior management and Business Units, contribute to financial processes, and support decision-making in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation of the Group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
Partner with Business Units to analyze performance, provide insights, and offer guidance on complex accounting matters
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and IFRS standards.
Coordinate and support audit activities, including direct collaboration with external auditors and active participation in the group’s annual audit process.
Drive improvements by creating and implementing new financial processes and controls.
Manage reporting calendars and deliverables, ensuring timely compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

CPA, mandatory.
Big 4 experience, with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a Controller role.
Strong knowledge and proven expertise in IFRS and group financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial statements, reporting, and accounting.
Solid understanding of inventories, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, mandatory.
Experience collaborating with external auditors and supporting group audits
Hands-on experience with ERP systems - Required (SAP experience is a strong advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, mandatory
