Data Engineer

Our IT Division at a leading global enterprise is looking for a Data Engineer to join the growing Data team.

As a Data Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to drive the development of the BI domain by designing and implementing architecture, data processing pipelines, models, and dashboards that serve multiple business units.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end development of data models: collecting data from various sources, building ETL processes, developing models and dashboards for diverse departments across the company.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient data architecture to support business processes.
• Modernize and upgrade existing ETL processes using contemporary tools and technologies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency, including infrastructure redesign, process automation, and data flow optimization.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and data experts to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to implement business solutions.
• Implement systems and processes for monitoring data quality, accuracy, and availability.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python – mandatory.
• Experience with PySpark – an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proven experience working with Azure Data Factory – mandatory.
• Experience with Databricks – an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience developing data models, visualizations, and working with BI tools – Power BI is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• High level of English – reading, writing, and speaking.
