Automation Infrastructure and Performance Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automation Infrastructure and Performance Team Leader to join our R&D organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our automation infrastructure and testing tools. You will also lead performance and load testing efforts for products, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 4 automation and performance engineers in their day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand automation and performance testing requirements.
• Define, implement, and maintain a robust performance testing strategy aligned with product and infrastructure goals.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance the automation framework to increase efficiency, stability, and test coverage.
• Promote engineering best practices and foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, with strong expertise in backend automation.
• 2+ years of experience designing automation architecture and building test infrastructure.
• Proven leadership experience (2+ years) managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Experience working with cloud-based environments and modern CI/CD tools.
• Practical experience in performance and load testing — a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to driving improvements.
