Process and Failure Analysis Engineer | Lod | Aviation Division – Engineering & Development Center

We are looking for a Process and Failure Analysis Engineer to join the Engineering & Development Center in the Aviation Division. This is a key role in metallurgical process analysis and failure investigation within the company.

The position includes:

• Integrating into the field of metallurgy and leading failure analysis activities

• Conducting various failure investigations

• Operating a wide range of characterization tools, including managing the SEM laboratory

• Participating in R&D processes in the field

• Leading technological topics within the core production as part of the metallurgy team and maintaining specifications.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry – required

• Experience in metallurgy, including working with international standards – required

• Experience conducting failure investigations and preparing failure analysis reports – required

• Broad familiarity with material characterization tools – required

• Experience working with SEM – required

• Familiarity with IAI specifications and civil aviation authorities – advantage.
