SOC Analyst Tier 2/3

As a SOC Analyst Tier 2/3 at CyberForce, you will play a critical role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving our security strategies and ensuring our clients maintain a robust defense against emerging threats.

In this role you will:

• Monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats to identify incidents;
• Create, validate, and sign IOCs and TTPs to strengthen detection and intelligence capabilities;
• Conduct in-depth investigations of escalated security incidents;
• Coordinate incident response efforts and implement remediation strategies;
• Develop and refine detection rules and response playbooks;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture;
• Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and attack techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment;
• Strong expertise in security monitoring tools and incident response procedures;
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, including Splunk and ElasticSearch;
• Proficiency in EDR/XDR technologies with the ability to create and manage custom IOA rules (e.g., CrowdStrike);
• Experience leveraging SOAR platforms to automate detection, investigation, and response workflows;
• Solid understanding of intrusion detection systems, log analysis, and network traffic monitoring for anomaly detection;
• Practical experience with FlareVM, as well as static and dynamic malware analysis tools;
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
