SOC Analyst Tier 1

SOC Analyst Tier 1 | Leading Healthcare Organization | Central Israel

A leading healthcare organization is looking for a SOC Analyst Tier 1 to join its 24/7 Security Operations Center and provide first-line response to cybersecurity events in a complex technology environment.

The position is also suitable for candidates at the beginning of their cybersecurity career with relevant professional training or a strong technical background.

What You'll Do

• Monitor security systems and identify potential cyber incidents
• Perform alert triage and distinguish false positives from security events
• Investigate, document, and escalate incidents to Tier 2
• Work with SIEM and SOAR platforms
• Follow SOC procedures and incident management processes
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, IR, and Cyber teams

What We're Looking For

• Relevant Cybersecurity / Information Security training or technical background
• Up to 1 year of SOC experience – advantage
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, preferably Splunk – advantage
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms – advantage
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux
• Good Hebrew and English
• Availability for 5 shifts per week, including weekends – required
• Availability for 24/7 shifts and emergency on-call when required

Relevant educational backgrounds include a technology/science degree, practical engineering studies, substantial professional cybersecurity training, or relevant technological military experience.
