We started our journey about three years ago with the mission of addressing the challenge of junctional bleeding. After two years of R&D, we launched the LST – Life Saving Tourniquet, which we continue to develop, manufacture, and market. In parallel, the company is also working on complementary and future products.

The R&D Mechanical Engineer will lead development of the next generation of the LST tourniquet and additional products: from initial concept through design, modeling, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, preparing the full technical file, and transition to production.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• Combat service background
• Fluent in Hebrew and English
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Development experience

Preferred: Industry experience (preferably defense/medical), willingness to travel 2–3 times a year, background in a special unit

About the role

Lead and execute end-to-end product development: design of parts and assemblies, 3D modeling, testing, material selection and manufacturing processes, building prototypes, experiments, preparing a complete product/production file, and transfer to manufacturing.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• Military combat service
• Excellent Hebrew and English
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Hands-on development experience
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and grow with the company long-term; ability to work longer hours as needed; strong problem-solving skills; self-learning and leadership ability; excellent hands-on skills

Preferred

• Industry experience (preferably defense/medical)
• Service in a special unit
• Willingness to travel abroad 2–3 times per year
• Team/project leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver full development projects from initial specification through mass production, including prototyping, experiments and testing; prepare manufacturing files and assembly instructions; work with suppliers/subcontractors
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing & Sales
• Design and build test fixtures, jigs, and assembly tools
• Collect feedback and drive continuous improvement of the product and technology

Scope & location

• Full-time, on-site (no hybrid)
• Omer Hi-Tech Park, Israel
• Occasional international travel (approx. 2–3 times per year)
