Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Backend Developer with strong experience in C#. The role requires a professional who can manage development processes, deliver high-quality solutions in on-prem environments, and work independently on customer sites. Strong organizational skills, technical depth, and interpersonal communication are essential.

While some flexibility is possible, this position is primarily office-based and requires being on-site 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

On-Prem Development

• Develop and deploy C# .net framework backend services on IIS.
• Implement database communication with AS/400 and DB2 systems.
• Integrate services into enterprise environments using ESB.

Development & Process Management

• Work with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira for source control, CI/CD, and project tracking.
• Manage the full development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure coding standards, security, and performance best practices are applied.

Customer-Facing Responsibilities

• Operate independently on customer sites, ensuring smooth communication and solution delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to customer teams.

Qualifications

Must

• 5+ Years of experience as a backend developer (with at least 2–3 years hands-on in Azure environments)
• Strong proficiency in C# development.
• Experience with IIS-based service development.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, DB2, etc.).
• Experience integrating with AS/400 systems and ESB technologies.
• Proficiency with GitHub, DevOps pipelines, and Jira.
• Strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with customers.
• Ability to manage work independently and organize tasks effectively.

Advantage

• Experience with external API integration patterns.
• Background in enterprise environments with hybrid (cloud + on-prem) systems.
• Knowledge of automation, scripting, or infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.).
