About the role:

As a Data Analyst Team Lead in Aidoc’s AI Data Development Group, you will drive some of the most critical processes in our AI development lifecycle. Building real-world AI products requires mastering advanced metrics and data architectures — and our group is at the forefront of this effort. You will take end-to-end ownership of dataset development projects, from ideation to delivery, while leading a team of analysts through complex technical and clinical challenges. Your responsibilities will include managing cross-functional data flows, ensuring the quality and integrity of datasets, developing optimal data pipelines, and facilitating data-driven product decisions grounded in a deep understanding of clinical workflows and AI algorithms. You will also identify and resolve bottlenecks, foster process improvements, and contribute to the architecture of a domain where best practices are still being defined. As a Team Lead, you will continuously assess, ensure quality standards, and coach your team toward delivering high-impact insights and scalable solutions. This role is central to driving both the accuracy and the scalability of Aidoc’s AI offerings.

Responsibilites:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts.
• Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify training needs and opportunities for team members' development.
• Lead recruitment process for new team members.
• Provide technical guidance, personal and career development, mentoring, and coaching to team leaders and members.
• Strategize on the growth and evolution of the data analyst team to meet future needs and challenges.
• Act as a promoter for necessary resources and tools to enhance the team’s capabilities.
• Management of data sets development for the development and measurement of AI algorithms.
• Management and guidance of statistical analysis.
• Management and guidance of data visualization (dashboards, graphs, etc.).
• Management and guidance of pre-deployment tests and monitoring of AI algorithms in production.
• End-to-end ownership for datasets development from ideation to deployment.
• Develop a detailed and comprehensive plan to track the team’s project progress.
• Manage the team’s sprints, including prioritization, creative thinking and retrospective summary of actual vs. planned.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering, Exact Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven industry experience in hands-on data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) AND SQL.
• Previous experience leading leading a data analysis team (at least 1+ years).
• Demonstrated ability to distill complex data into clear visualizations and actionable insights.
• Experience presenting data-driven findings to leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Exceptional track record as a data analyst or data scientist, with a demonstrated commitment to excellence.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Genuine passion for the medical field and its impact.
• Experience with DBT — an advantage.
• Experience analyzing the performance of AI algorithms — must.
• Familiarity with Databricks — an advantage.
• Strong sense of humility and collaborative leadership style; driven to help the team and organization grow.
