Power Supply Engineer

A leading defense company is seeking a Senior Power Supply Design Engineer with broad and in-depth expertise in advanced power systems design.

This is an end-to-end role, involving full responsibility for the development of power supplies and power circuits — from requirements definition through integration into systems and support during testing, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Reporting to: Hardware Manager, R&D and Engineering Group

Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering

Position Requirements

• Extensive experience in power supply design, including development of both isolated and non-isolated DC/DC converters
• Hands-on expertise in designing power supplies using various topologies, such as: Buck, Boost, Flyback, Push-Pull, Full-Bridge
• Experience in designing protection circuits (e.g., Surge, Spike, Reverse Polarity, OVP, OCP)
• Experience in input filter design and meeting environmental standards
• Familiarity with MIL-STD standards and defense industry requirements
• Experience in Mixed-Signal board design
• Strong system-level perspective and a multidisciplinary approach
• Willingness to work hands-on, including debugging and solving complex issues
• Ability to work independently within a structured, methodical team — with a strong focus on proper documentation and engineering reporting
