Technical Support Specialist

Missile and Space Systems Division is looking for a Technical Support Specialist for the Polarion ALM system.

The position includes:

• Leading, establishing, and supporting Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems, including Polarion ALM and IBM DOORS
• Ensuring optimal performance and utilization of tool capabilities
• Providing support and solutions for the transition from IBM DOORS to Polarion
• Collaborating closely with systems engineers, project managers, development teams, quality assurance personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure a successful transition and continued use of Polarion

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3 years of experience supporting and managing Polarion ALM or similar ALM tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)
• Experience working with IBM DOORS, with familiarity in data structures, workflows, and system limitations considered an advantage
• In-depth understanding of software development processes, including requirements management, test management, version control, and continuous integration (preferred)
• Hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting ALM tools
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Groovy, or similar) is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong service orientation, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to interface effectively with multiple teams in parallel
