Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Enineering Manager to join our Data Applications and Platform team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Building, Leading, and mentoring a team of 4-7 Software Engineers, in all aspects while emphasizing personal example and hands-on capabilities
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture that supports growth and innovation
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of key data projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively
• Provide technical guidance and ensure that best practices are followed in solution design and implementation and monitoring, troubleshooting, of the team’s microservices
  
  

What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 2+ years of experience in a management role, preferably overseeing data applications and data platforms.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in at least one high-level backend language (Java, Node.js, Python, C#) and a relevant framework (e.g., Spring, Django).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with microservice architecture (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies) and and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and building complex data pipelines.
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Temporal.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic, or similar tool).
