What are we looking for?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our IT team based on Israel. If you are someone proactive and detail-oriented, who is passionate about quality and enjoys working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, ifeel is the place for you.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts for backend, web, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and improve automated testing frameworks and pipelines.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
• Report and track bugs, ensuring a high level of product quality.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Train and mentor the current QA team on best practices in automated testing, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Continuously monitor, analyze and improve test coverage, performance, and stability

The Ideal candidate will have:

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Native Hebrew, fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools (Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Maestro).
• Experience with test frameworks in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with mobile testing (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts.

We would love to know more about you if you have:

• Interest in psychology and mental health.
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Experience with mentoring
• Knowledge of BDD (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Familiarity with tools such as TestRail, Xray, Allure Reports, etc.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal tech initiatives.
