Infrastructure Manager / Integrator

We are looking for an Integrator for a key role within a highly innovative defense organization operating in the field of AI.

his position is responsible for enabling smooth, efficient, and fast operation of the development unit by minimizing friction and resolving infrastructure-related issues—both internal and external.

The role involves removing technological and bureaucratic obstacles such as permissions, compute resources, data access, inter-organizational connectivity (cross-network operations), and human connections.

You will lead complex integration processes to ensure operational continuity, support development efforts, and accelerate technological progress within the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure and Compute Resource Management:
• Overseeing the allocation, monitoring, and management of the unit’s computing resources (server farms, GPUs, storage), most of which are operated by other organizational entities.
• Network and Connectivity Troubleshooting:
• Handling requests and solving issues related to connectivity and communication across various organizational networks.
• Access and Licensing Management:
• Managing access permissions for systems, licenses for development/management tools, and access to databases for unit employees.
• Integration Leadership:
• Leading the technological integration of the unit’s solutions with various entities in the defense ecosystem.
• Collaboration with Internal and External Teams:
• Working closely with internal development teams and external IT/integration partners.
• Integration Planning and Readiness:
• Creating detailed integration plans and ensuring all parties are fully prepared before execution.
• Operational & Technological Problem Solving:
• Acting as a central focal point for resolving operational and technical issues.
• "Human Integration":
• Identifying and connecting with key stakeholders in different organizations to overcome bureaucratic barriers.
• Support in Approvals and Procurement:
• Assisting teams with obtaining approvals, navigating technological procurement processes, and gaining access to essential data sources.
• Development & Operations Tools Management:
• Maintaining and supporting the unit’s development and operations tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Git), including license management and user support.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field: Information Systems, Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science, or another technological discipline.

Experience:

Required:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role—IT Manager, Integrator, Infrastructure Manager, System Administrator, or DevOps—in a complex organizational environment.
• Hands-on experience and proven knowledge in managing communication networks (TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routing).
• Strong proficiency with Linux-based operating systems.
