Position: Senior Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant

Employment Type: Full-time (Single-person position)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper and Payroll Accountant to join our team in a standalone role at our office in Netanya. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting operations independently.

Bookkeeping (up to trial balance):

• Full-cycle bookkeeping, including daily journal entries and reconciliations
• Handling supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Issuing customer invoices, account reconciliations, and aging analysis
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Managing employee expense reports and miscellaneous payments
• Preparing monthly and annual reports for tax authorities (VAT, income tax, national insurance)
• Assisting in cash flow management and reporting

Payroll:

• End-to-end payroll processing for dozens of employees
• Managing attendance reports, social benefits, and pension fund allocations
• Coordinating with insurance companies and pension providers
• Preparing termination forms (e.g., Form 161) and handling employee offboarding
• Ensuring full compliance with local labor and tax regulations

• Certified Bookkeeper – Level 2 or higher
• Certified Payroll Accountant
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in both bookkeeping and payroll
• Experience working with Priority ERP system (mandatory)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
