Research & Development Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview:

You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team that’s breaking new ground in technology. If you’ve got strong engineering instincts and love taking a concept and making it real, this is your playground. Your role will be full-cycle—everything from R&D to getting working systems into customers' hands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop systems that converts heat into electricity
• Develop product end-to-end from idea to design, testing to use by customers
• Working closely with scientists to bring advanced concepts to life
• Finding and managing suppliers, and develop production methods
• Staying in tune with customers and making sure the product fits their need

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in Mechanical engineering development. For those with broader experience—we’ve got bigger challenges waiting
• Strong track record in taking ideas and turning them into real working products
• Familiarity with different manufacturing methods
• Self-sufficient, creative thinker with a focus on results and deadlines
• Great team player with strong people skills; works well across disciplines

Advantages:

• Experience with heat transfer systems
• Familiarity with Acoustics, Thermodynamics and related disciplines
