Business Development Senior Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to drive business development activities and support the growth of Lockheed Martin's operations in Israel. This role plays a key part in fostering horizontal integration across business areas, contributing to both domestic and international business expansion.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin Israel, the Business Development Manager will be instrumental in identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, and representing the company's interests across various government, military, and industrial sectors.

As a member of the Lockheed Martin International Team, this role offers a unique opportunity to enhance access to strategic business opportunities, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure the company's continued success in a highly competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Opportunity Development: Identify, cultivate, and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities across Lockheed Martin’s business areas, focusing on the Israeli and international markets.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Lockheed Martin in key interactions with Israeli government officials, military leaders, industrial partners, and other critical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maintaining strong, positive relationships.
• Strategic Pursuit Support: Support the business areas in their pursuits in Israel, assisting in shaping and enhancing customer relationships, and driving successful outcomes.
• Industry Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a robust network of potential clients, partners, and thought leaders.
• Partnership Development: Foster new partnerships with Israeli Defense Industries and startups, supporting innovation and expanding Lockheed Martin’s footprint in the region.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

• Outstanding Communication: Proven ability to craft and deliver clear, persuasive messages to diverse audiences, motivating action at all levels within the organization and externally.
• Military & Defense Knowledge: Strong understanding of Israel's military, civil services, and security intelligence domains, with an ideal background in defense industry dynamics both domestically and internationally.
• Political and International Affairs Insight: A background or understanding of global political dynamics and international relations is highly desirable, particularly in relation to defense and security sectors.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable plans that drive long-term success.
• Integrity & Ethics: A commitment to personal excellence, ethical behavior, and integrity, consistently representing Lockheed Martin’s values.
• Multitasking & Flexibility: Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, multinational environment, with flexibility to adapt as needs evolve.
• Research & Analytical Expertise: Strong skills in research, analysis, and interpreting complex data to support business development and strategic decision-making. Experience with think tanks or policy research organizations is a plus.
• Mergers & Acquisitions: Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions would be a distinct advantage.
• Language & Mobility: Exceptional written and spoken English skills are required, with the ability to present effectively at all levels. The position requires flexibility for travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Military Service: Completion of military service in Israel.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, military service, or related fields within the defense or industrial sectors.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable.
