Full Stack Team Lead

Exodigo is the leading underground mapping solution for non-intrusive discovery. Our platforms combine multi-sensor fusion, 3D imaging, and AI technologies to create complete, accurate underground maps that enable confident decision-making for customers across the built world. We transform the project lifecycle for our customers, who include key community stakeholders in the utilities, transportation and government sectors.

We are experiencing sky-rocketing growth and closed a historically large $105M Series A round in February of 2024.

As a Full Stack Team Lead (FE Oriented) you’ll play a key role in both hands-on development and team leadership. You’ll be responsible for implementing user-facing features using React and modern web technologies, while also managing and leading the frontend team — ensuring smooth execution, high-quality code, and team growth. This role combines deep technical expertise with people and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex web applications using React with TypeScript
• Build high-performance visualizations using mapping technologies
• Work with 3D rendering and geospatial data processing
• Build responsive and performant UI components
• Lead, manage, and grow the frontend team, including mentoring, task planning, and performance guidance
• Own frontend delivery and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution

Key Interfaces:

• Software Development: You will work closely with software developers to develop Exodigo proprietary technology
• Engineering: You will support engineering teams with backend solutions for their projects

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript
• 3+ years of experience in a team lead or management role
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Proficiency in state management patterns
• Experience with real-time data visualization and processing
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Python backend services
• Experience with geospatial visualization libraries (Mapbox GL, Deck.gl, or similar)
• Experience in 3D visualization technologies (Three.js, WebGL)
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and AWS services / lambda
• Experience with CAD or Geographic Information Systems
• Experience with WebGL
