Your Role

As the Tech Lead Frontend Engineer, you will drive the architecture, development, and evolution of our frontend stack, delivering seamless user experiences and product integration across platforms. You’ll lead the frontend stack, set technical direction, mentor other frontend and fullstack engineers, and play a critical role in shaping the product’s frontend capabilities using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on coding and mentoring, and thrives in a fast-paced team with large customer scale.

What You’ll Do

• Work across Tenable products and build frontend infrastructure to streamline product integration.
• Own and drive the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable frontend architecture using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to build intuitive and high-performance user interfaces.
• Advocate for and implement component reusability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the frontend architecture.
  
  

• 7+ years of experience with full proficiency and in-depth development using React, Next.js, and extensive use of TypeScript.
• Proven ability to design and scale component architectures and establish reusable design systems.
• Ability to drive processes, take responsibility for high-quality code, optimize for performance, and ensure system stability.
• Able and eager to quickly integrate new frameworks, explore evolving technologies, and implement creative solutions.
• Autodidactic abilities to ramp up quickly on new technologies
• Ability to bring fresh ideas, propose improvements, and implement innovative processes and tools that will enhance team and organizational efficiency.
• Proven experience in companies dealing with Security SaaS B2B.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
