We are looking for an Senior Payroll Accountant for an exciting and challenging position!

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Petah-Tikva.

Responsibilities

• Managing payroll for approximately 1,200 employees in Israel, including employee payments.
• Reviewing expense reimbursements and additional salary-related payments.
• Recording payroll entries and related expenses in the accounting books.
• Approximately 10% of the role includes accounting tasks.
• Ensuring accurate monthly reporting and payments to government authorities (e.g., tax deductions, income tax, social security, pension funds).
• Responsibility for monthly payroll data closure.
• Providing ongoing support for payroll issues and resolving discrepancies with employees and managers.
• Instrumental in assisting with Israeli Taxes and VAT issues
• Regular collaboration with various departments, including HR, accounting, and legal advisors.
  
  

• At least 5–7 years of experience in payroll accounting, preferably within global companies.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to correspond professionally in English via email and communicate with international stakeholders when needed.
• Experience with NetSuite – an advantage.
• Familiarity with payroll software such as Malam – an advantage.
• Experience in payroll system implementation – an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player as well as independent work capabilities
