We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team, which is focused on building a cutting-edge browser extension that protects users from malicious threats in real-time. In addition to traditional threat protection, the extension also includes advanced features for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and GenAI-driven protection to address modern web-based risks.

This role involves both manual and automated testing, ensuring that our product delivers seamless, secure, and high-performance experiences across multiple browsers and environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for browser extensions (primarily Chrome, Firefox, and Edge).
• Perform manual exploratory testing to identify usability, functional, and security issues.
• Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, regression) to ensure product quality in CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand new features and define test coverage.
• Log, track, and verify bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility, performance, and responsiveness of the extension.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and browser dev tools.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, security-focused development environments.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Desired Skills

• 2+ years of experience in software QA (manual and automated).
• Experience testing browser extensions or web-based applications.
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
