🚀 About The Role

We're on the search for a QA Engineer that will join our R&D team and take part in developing our life-saving Real-Time communication platform that supports national emergency services all over the world. As a QA Engineer at Carbyne, you will be testing various platforms such as Mobile (iOS and Android), Command & Control systems, Real-time communication network protocols, and various Web & desktop applications.

🎯 What You'll Be Doing

• Analyze and understand system requirements and user stories
• Break down complex flows into clear, structured test plans and scenarios
• Design and execute manual tests for both backend and frontend components
• Perform API testing, including validation of backend services and data integrity
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases
• Document and track bugs using Jira/TestRail, and provide clear test results
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks
  
  

• 1-3 years of experience in manual testing
• Knowledge of STP, STD and STR documents creation
• Understanding of QA methodologies
• Knowledge of SQL usage
• Familiarity with Client-Server topology
• Experience in working with debugging tools
• Curiosity and attention to details
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent team player on one hand and a self-motivator on the other
• Willing to work under pressure and overtime hours when required
