Senior Frontend Engineer

LayerX is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams. The role involves software design and development of complex security capabilities and frontend components, focusing on the user-facing aspects of our platform that protects millions of different web browsers across dozens of enterprise customers.

• Design and develop complicated security capabilities and frontend components of the system to defend against evolving web-based threats. This will heavily involve working with React to create intuitive and secure user interfaces.
• Take ownership of a mission-critical production system that safeguards millions of web browsers globally, ensuring the security of enterprise customers and their data, with a strong emphasis on the user experience.
• Be part of our architecture and design forum and contribute to key decisions regarding frontend solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Security Experts, to deliver robust and scalable frontend solutions.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, peer reviews, and adherence to best practices in frontend software development, particularly with React.
• Deep dive into the fascinating world of web and browser security, applying this knowledge to create secure and effective frontend components.
• Work closely with account managers to maximize value delivery to our customers through excellent frontend features.
• Release code sometimes several times per day with our advanced release management system, primarily focusing on frontend deployments.

• 4+ years of experience
• Extensive experience with Node.js, Typescript, and especially React for building complex and responsive user interfaces.
• Ability to debug and optimize complex frontend systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical frontend solutions to enhance user satisfaction.
• Experience working in a scrum team and in an agile environment.
• Self-driven, proactive and resourceful, you seek challenge.
  
  

• Experience working in cybersecurity, particularly with frontend security aspects.
• Deep knowledge of web and browser technologies/security.
• B.Sc in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent technical field (or relevant experience from IDF).
