SEO Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to contribute to and execute Imagen AI's organic growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you will implement and continuously optimize our SEO strategy, encompassing technical SEO, content, link building, and pioneering our presence in the rapidly evolving AI search world.

You will play a key role in our organic search performance, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure Imagen AI is visible, authoritative, and cited across all search landscapes, including traditional search engines, Answer Engines (AEO), and Generative AI platforms (GEO).

Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy & Execution:

• Contribute to and execute the SEO roadmap, focusing on driving qualified organic traffic, leads, and conversions.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) across traditional SEO, AEO, and GEO.
  
  

• Assist in maintaining the optimal technical health of imagen-ai.com (site speed, mobile-friendliness, HTTPS, crawlability, indexability).
• Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues (e.g., broken links, sitemaps, robots.txt).
• Support the implementation of emerging AI-specific technical standards, including the /llms.txt protocol.
  
  

• Perform in-depth keyword research, identifying high-intent, long-tail, and conversational queries.
• Create and optimize high-quality, original content that addresses user pain points and showcases Imagen AI's value.
• Implement advanced content structuring for readability and AI comprehension (headings, lists, tables, multimedia).
• Contribute to building topical authority through pillar pages and content clusters.
• Ensure all content adheres to E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles.
  
  

• Execute strategies for acquiring high-quality backlinks from reputable industry sources.
• Optimize internal linking to distribute page authority and improve user navigation.
  
  

• Growth & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
• Optimize content and landing pages across the sales funnel (awareness, engagement, decision, conversion, retention).
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance landing pages for trials and demos.
• Support post-signup SEO strategies for customer retention (onboarding content, FAQs, tutorials).
  
  

• Collaborate closely with content, web development, product, design, and marketing teams.
• Work with external agencies and freelancers, ensuring alignment with objectives.
  
  

• Perform regular SEO audits, content refreshes, and monitor AI algorithm updates and emerging trends.
• Utilize AI-powered SEO tools for content creation, keyword clustering, and analysis.
  
  

• 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of contributing to organic growth for a SaaS or technology company.2
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies, including schema markup and optimizing for AI-generated responses.25
• Proficiency with industry-leading SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Frase, etc.).17
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.17
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.3
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.20
• Basic understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on SEO.2
• Passion for the evolving search landscape, AI technologies, and a growth mindset focused on continuous learning and innovation.6
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.3
