Engineering Manager

Inspira™ Technologies is an innovative medical technology company in the Life Support arena. The Company has developed a breakthrough Augmented Respiration Technology (INSPIRA™ ART), with adaptive blood monitoring and blood oxygenation technology designed to rebalance patient oxygen saturation levels. This technology potentially allows patients to remain awake during treatment while reducing the need for highly invasive, risky, and costly mechanical ventilation systems that require intubation and medically induced coma. Equipped with HYLA™ real-time continuous blood monitoring technology, the system instantly detects changes in patient conditions, empowering physicians in making informed decisions.

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Inspiration!

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and establish engineering processes. You will oversee new component releases, solve production issues, develop manufacturing processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will report to the VP operations.

Responsibilities

• Leading the engineering team
• Coordinating with contractors and suppliers
• Establish Engineering processes (ECO, DCO, MCO, etc.)
• Responsible for release new components (will be serve as component engineering in addition)
• Interfaces with company’s departments to initiate solutions to production problems.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and technologies to meet the production requirements and to ensure the cost-effective integration of new products or for the improvement of existing ones.
• Hiring and training new engineering staff (later on)
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in relevant R&D stages design reviews
• Analyze manufacturing line risks (PFMEA) to incorporate and validate critical tests during/for manufacturing.
• Responsible for transfer to production activities.
  
  

• B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Management Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a Engineer manager in a mechanical based company. Medical - advantage.
• Experience working with PLM system. Agile – advantage (Will be Agile Admin)
• Experience in defining engineering changes: ECO/MCO/DCO in medical company – advantage.
• Knowledge in production processes: PCB assembly, mechanical technologies and cable assembly.
• Knowledge in MS office
• English language skills both written and spoken
