Senior Data Analyst – Finance Operations

Sounds exciting? Then keep reading because we’re on the hunt for a Senior Data Analyst with strong technical skills and business orientation to join our Finance Operations team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and manipulating large datasets using SQL and Python, designing and implementing data pipelines, working with data visualization tools, and providing insights to support key business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, billing, and operations, and play a critical role in building scalable, data-driven solutions. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and analyze large datasets to support financial and operational decision-making
• Design and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data flow
• Collaborate with billing, finance, and operations teams to provide actionable insights and resolve data-related issues
• Build and maintain databases and data models to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems
• Develop and automate dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Support business units with ad-hoc analyses and data deep dives to identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making, initiatives and scalable solutions
• Keep up-to-date with new data technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including proficiency in writing complex queries
• Strong experience with Python for data analysis and automation tasks
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Airflow
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance best practices
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive) – advantage
• Advanced knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with version control systems
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with expertise in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
