Development Manager

A leading financial company is looking for an experienced and visionary Development Manager, reporting directly to the CTO.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing all development teams, including Digital, Core Systems, Data, QA, and DevOps. The role includes full ownership of development, operations, and maintenance of the company’s systems while ensuring high standards of performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage development teams with a focus on quality and meeting project timelines
• Oversee development and maintenance of core systems and digital assets
• Drive innovation through the adoption of modern technologies aligned with business strategy
• Lead complex, long-term technology projects across departments
• Continuously improve development and deployment processes using automation, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies
• Ensure compliance with strict regulatory and information security requirements
• Manage departmental budget, hiring, and professional training
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, infrastructure, and security teams

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience leading development organizations in medium/large companies
• Proven experience managing development teams, including code reviews and architecture/design oversight
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Git, and familiarity with CI/CD processes
• Python experience – strong advantage
• .NET experience – an advantage
• Experience managing QA teams
• Strong leadership skills, strategic mindset, and technical vision
• Business understanding and experience working with internal stakeholders
• Availability 24/7, ability to work under pressure and multitask
