Production Planning Department Manager - TAPI

A global leader in the personal care industry is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Production Planning Department Manager to join its plant management team in the North of Israel.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Coordination:

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed production schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
• Balance production load across multiple lines or machines to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track production performance against the plan and adjust schedules as needed to resolve bottlenecks or delays.
• Monitor production KPIs, costs, and inventory levels to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on production status, capacity utilization, and potential risks to Top Management.

Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement:

• Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, supply issues, or resource constraints to prevent production interruptions.
• Participate in cross-functional improvement projects to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize workflow.
• Recommend and implement changes in planning methods, tools, or processes to improve output quality and operational agility.

Desired Skills & Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience, including at least 2 years in Production Planning management and 3 years in inventory planning within a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Proven experience with MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and data analysis tools.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with solid math and statistical skills.
• Deadline driven. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work and motivate all levels of employees.
• Languages: Native Hebrew, Fluent in Russian, Professional English
