Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Wizzo is looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to help us redefine how users interact with Excel, enabling them to make better decisions that impact us all. This is a greenfield opportunity to invent a new category of tools for modern finance. You’ll be responsible for the entire stack, from designing backend algorithms and scalable APIs to developing frontend components and in-Excel experiences.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain full-stack systems for Wizzo’s Excel-native AI platform.
• Design scalable APIs, backend services, and data pipelines to structure and serve complex financial models in real-time.
• Develop intuitive and high-performance UIs, both web-based and embedded directly in Excel.
• Design and build our developer SDK for third-party partners.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team on product vision, customer feedback, and go-to-market strategy.
• Shape engineering culture, stack decisions, and processes from the ground up.

Who you are:

• You have 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications using TypeScript (Node.js, React), Python, and modern infrastructure (Docker, Azure, Postgres).
• You are comfortable moving between backend and frontend as needed and are excited to work closely with users.
• You are curious and product-minded, with a passion for building high-trust tools that solve impactful real-world problems.
• You are comfortable in fast-moving environments and excel at owning projects end-to-end.
• Experience leading and growing technical teams is a significant plus.
