Harmoniz - The Art of Seed Innovation is a global agtech company specializing in breeding greenhouse seeds. . The company is focused on developing innovative, great-tasting, and virus-resistant tomatoes, expanding into pepper and cucumber seed development.

Main Purpose: Supervise and conduct field research for the introduction of new traits and identification of molecular markers. Support IP and Patents policy implementation, scouting and implementing new technologies

Responsibilities:

Support the company's research for the introduction of new traits and identification of molecular markers related to flavor, taste, and aromatic metabolites in Solanum Lycopersicon (Tomato), Cucumis sativus (Cucumber) and Capsicum annuum (Pepper).
Serve as an IP ambassador by managing, identifying unique ideas, protecting the company's intellectual property (IP), and ensuring avoidance of competitors' IP infringements.
Scout and implement cutting-edge breeding technologies, such as CRISPR.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of research goals with business objectives

Qualifications:

PhD in plant molecular biology or genomics
Practical experience in leading research projects utilizing advanced genomic based technologies such as CRISPR and other Bio informatic -genomic based.
Independent and self-driven with good ability to collaborate with multiple partners, internally and externally
English- high level
